Donminick
When people say early intervention is key. It most certainly is. We are forever grateful to The Allen School for laying the foundation for my sweet son Donminick who is autistic. Not only did they play a pivotal role in his social and emotional development, but they also provided a safe and nurturing environment for him. They offered support and plenty of resources for me as a parent.
The therapists were all wonderful and knowledgeable and they taught me techniques to continue helping him. They encouraged me to always advocate for my child and his voice. His teachers were so patient during potty training. The administrative staff became more like family to us both. They are all in my son's scrapbook--that's his foundation. Sixteen years later, my son will be 20 years old in December.
